Kinetic sculptures are designed and built to move — coming to life in the blink of an eye! Participants engineer creature machines that vibrate, wander around, or spin! All projects are unique but share the same DNA – motors, batteries, wires and a wide variety of sculptural art media!
Perfect for a classroom that is investigating creative problem solving, exploring the fundamentals of project-based learning, or focusing on integrating art and science.
During out-of-school time, this activity complements STEM nights, family engagement and is a great on-site “field trip”.
