One Daisy and Brownie troop meeting

Last reviewed October 4, 2026. This is a meeting plan, not a price list. Sources are only Sparks for Girl Scouts and Girl Scout bundle answers.

What can a Daisy or Brownie troop make?

Sparks for Girl Scouts says Daisies can build playful moving inventions with Art Machines, or explore geometry and structural design with Straw Structures. It says Brownies can design and build robot mechanisms with Linkages, or engineer and construct pathways with Mazes. Neither page names a Girl Scout badge, petal, or journey. This page does not add one.

How does that differ from the shop bundle?

Girl Scout bundle answers says the only shop rank bundle is Daisy and Brownie, and it contains Mazes, Art Machines, and Flying Machines. That box is not the landing-page list. The shop bundle does not include Straw Structures or Linkages. Flying Machines is in the Daisy and Brownie bundle, but Sparks for Girl Scouts lists Flying Machines under Juniors, not under Daisies or Brownies. Neither page maps Sparks to named badges.

What is the meeting plan?

The landing page says Sparks come individually bagged in Small Group Packs of 10 and Class Packs of 25. Hand them out. Illustrated guides show the steps. Each Spark has a leader page with videos, instructional slides, and a playbook: "Open a pack, make along with the guide, and you're ready to coach." The Daisy and Brownie bundle page states Activity Time 20-50 min and Prep Time 5-15 min, and that designs go home. Those times are for that bundle (Mazes, Art Machines, and Flying Machines). The landing page does not give a minute count for a Straw Structures or Linkages troop meeting, so this plan does not invent one.

Do the builds go home?

Yes, on both source pages. The landing page says, "When Scouts know what they're making will go home with them, engagement skyrockets." The bundle answers say designs go home.

Is there an endorsement line?

No. Girl Scout bundle answers says there is no endorsement sentence on the Daisy and Brownie product pages or on Sparks for Girl Scouts, and this page does not add one. No Girl Scout leader-guide PDF was verified on those pages. The guides linked from the bundle answers are the general Mazes, Art Machines, and Flying Machines guides, not a badge sign-off.
